Chris "Mad Dog" Russo To Make Satellite Radio Debut

Thanks to the fine people at Sirius XM, Chris Russo, formerly of WFAN makes his debut on Sirius and XM Satellite Radio tomorrow. He’ll be live from the ESPN Zone in New York to talk about the NFL.

Chris Russo will host a special preview edition of his new daily SIRIUS XM Radio sports talk show that launches September 15, 2008. The daily show is the anchor program for Mad Dog Radio, the new sports talk channel that will air nationwide on SIRIUS channel 123 and XM channel 144.

This event will present Russo to a national radio audience in his first live broadcast since joining SIRIUS XM Radio in August.

The broadcast will air live Thursday, September 4 (2:00 – 7:00 pm ET) exclusively on SIRIUS channel 123 and XM channel 144.

Russo will be at the ESPN Zone, 1472 Broadway (at 42nd Street) New York, NY

Thursday’s event will be open to the public.

Scheduled guests on the program include NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as well as NBC Sports broadcaster John Madden, who will call that night’s New York Giants-Washington Redskins game at Giants Stadium.

I don’t know if this will be available on Sirius or XM Internet Radio. I have asked Sirius about this and have not received an answer as of yet. I’ll let you know if it will be streamed live.
