actually it is Buck Lanford, and you can find his bio on the Fox 5 Atlanta Web site...:-)
I figured he was a local guy. Fox usually cherry picks a local guy for the sidelines throughout the season.
Is there a way to influence local choices for NFL games? It looks like the CBS station in Boston is choosing Jets-Bengals over Indy-Baltimore.
Usually, it's up to CBS to decide what games to its local affiliates. However, some affiliates do polls on their websites, but that's very rare. For the CBS owned and operated affiliates like WBZ, they take what they're given.
