Coming up in September, performances begin for “Lombardi“, a play based on David Maraniss’ book, “When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi” a biography on the late Green Bay Packers coach. The play stars Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years) and Judith Light (Who’s The Boss, One Life to Live). NFL Network aired a commercial for the play during its preseason football coverage last night. From what I’ve read, the play has a very good production team as well as a strong cast. Advance tickets are on sale and the play is being performed at the Circle In The Square Theater. Opening night is on October 21.
