Lombardi On Broadway

Coming up in September, performances begin for “Lombardi“, a play based on David Maraniss’ book, “When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi” a biography on the late Green Bay Packers coach. The play stars Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years) and Judith Light (Who’s The Boss, One Life to Live). NFL Network aired a commercial for the play during its preseason football coverage last night. If you missed it or don’t have NFL Network, this is what aired.

From what I’ve read, the play has a very good production team as well as a strong cast. Advance tickets are on sale and the play is being performed at the Circle In The Square Theater. Opening night is on October 21.
