Phillies Set Another Ratings Record for Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia

For the season just completed, the Phillies have seen yet another ratings increase for Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia. It marks the 8th straight year that the ratings have gone up for the regional sports network. During the 2010 regular year, the Phils averaged an 8.3 rating. That’s staggering. Compare that to 2003 when the Phillies received 3.35. It shows that winning certainly breeds interest, but it also shows that the team has struck a chord with the fans. Here’s the release from Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia that also outlines its postseason coverage plans.
